Styling Tips For Her

There is no such thing as “too dressed up”

Don’t be afraid to dress up and have some fun with your outfit! This is the perfect opportunity to wear that dress that you wont get rid of but don't know where to wear it! Bring out that baby and rock it! Or this is you sign to go buy a new dress & spoil yourself. You may also want to consider getting your hair and/or makeup professionally done for the session. Now is the time! Feel free to bring along accessories such as a hat or jewelry.

Flowy Dresses and Skirts

Long, flowy dresses and skirts look amazing on camera. They add extra movement to the photos and make great props! Not to mention they compliment natural environments. Meanwhile, dresses and skirts also really flatter the female body.

On camera, three quarter length sleeves have a slimming effect on arms, while skinny straps or strapless dresses have the opposite effect. I’m all about sleeveless, but if your goal is to have slimmer-looking arms, I recommend wearing something with sleeves or bringing along a sweater or cardigan.

Heels will make your legs look longer. I only recommend wearing them if you normally would and if you are comfortable moving in them. Whatever shoes you choose, they key factor is that you are comfortable and you can move in easily through the terrain where we will be shooting. A tip for wearing heels is bring a pair of flats to wear in between locations. If we are shooting at the beach or near water, I recommend going barefoot or wearing sandals.
