We begin by strategizing with the program I've created to guide you through the moving parts of your business. We'll take the time to reflect on who you are, where you want to be, and create a path to get you there. We'll start with a strategizing meet and greet and dive deep into the behind-the-scenes moving parts and express them in photos to help you stand out from the crowd and attract the energy you're putting out. Then followed by planning the time and location for our branding session. To prepare you for success during our time together, I'll create a shot list and provide additional tips and tricks from my program.

step one - vision
When you inquire you will receive a questionnaire to start the planning process, get your ideas on paper and most importantly to tell me more about you and your babe so we can customize and make your day perfect for you two!
step two - discovery
Once you fill out the questionnaire, we'll schedule a online or in-person meeting to discuss any outstanding questions and logistics for your wedding day. We will go over the timeline, packages, and what it's like working with me and geek out on any wedding ideas you have! Most importantly, we'll see if we're the perfect match and make sure the vibe is right.
step three - balance
To confirm and secure your date, a 50% retainer is due upon signing the contract. The remainder balance is due one month before your project date. I offer payment plans that can be customized to your needs. A thank you gift is on it's way.
step four - timing
It's time to start planning the timeline and shot list. I'll send you a detailed questionnaire to get the outline for the timeline and shot list. We'll work together to make sure everything is set for your wedding day.
step five - connection
Having a positive relationship with the photographer is a key component to capturing the best photos. Let's grab coffee or drinks at a local spot of your choosing, and go over the timeline. If you're not in the same state, we can always grab a glass of wine and meet on Zoom. I want to get to know my couples so we can set ourselves up for success on your wedding day.
step six - love
It's your day!I will become your go-to person, providing weather updates and confirming our meeting time and location. In my good morning text, I will ask if you would like me to bring you coffee or tea. Your day will be seamless and stress-free. If any issues arise, I will have a solution. Remember to enjoy the moment and fall in love with your partner all over again!
step seven - cherish
Within 48 hours, you will receive a sneak peek of your wedding day in your digital online gallery. With Polaroids in your hands, you won't have to wait for a photo - your wedding day will be full of love and memories.
step eight - REMEMBER
Enjoy the magical memories and flip through your photos for years to come.
Firstly, Do I travel? Hell yes! I love traveling and will be happy to travel to wherever your heart takes you. Popular locations include: AZ, CA, CO, HI, FL, NV, NM, OR, UT, WA, WY, Mexico, Costa Rica & Bali. Light Rae is located a little north of Denver. All locations outside the Denver metro area are subject to a $35 hourly travel rate. Ask for your personalized travel quote.
You will receive your polaroid keepsakes during your session! Digital sneak peeks will arrive for your viewing within 48 hours in your personalized online gallery. From your previews, you can select your 40 favorite images, or upgrade to the full gallery for $150. Once you make your selection, the turnaround time for images is 3 weeks. However, you will often receive your gallery within two weeks.
Yes, of course. This is your time to shine! Bring those outfits you don’t want to part with but have no occasion to wear them too. If you’re stuck with what to wear just ask and I can help with additional guidance. Please keep in mind the location of our session and how you might need to change your outfit accordingly.
My motto is to get it right in camera first. However, in some cases, we may need to use other methods to remove distracting items, such as changing angles or using Photoshop. I can remove distracting items in photos using Photoshop and make light touch-ups like skin softening and color correcting. Please note that I will not make any body modifications in Photoshop unless specifically requested. Additionally, there is a Photoshop fee per image for body modifications and advanced projects.
YES! YES and YES! I upload your sessions galleries to my computer, hard drive and to my cloud. I also keep the SD card of the RAWS until your final gallery is delivered. Your photos are safe with me and extremely protected.
All of my 500+ clients have told me that I help them feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. It's normal to feel nervous, but don't worry! I will guide you on what to do with your hands and give you action-based prompts to help you feel natural and authentic.
